A message from the editor, Anja Christoffersen

In Crowd started because incontinence is far too common to be life-limiting. I’ve lived with incurable incontinence my entire life — through bowel and bladder accidents, multiple ostomies, complex surgeries, bowel programs and catheterisation. What I’ve learned, and what so many people share with me, is that the hardest part isn’t the condition — it’s the shame and isolation. No one should feel ostracised by the things they can’t control. In Crowd will put confidence, choice and freedom back in our hands.
